Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by GoGoDrive (“we,” “us,” or “the School”).

By booking lessons, purchasing packages, or accessing our website, you agree to comply with these Terms.

GoGoDrive operates in Queensland, Australia, and all services are provided in accordance with Queensland road rules, licensing regulations, and applicable Australian laws.

2. Services Provided

GoGoDrive provides driver training services including:

  • Automatic/manual driving lessons

  • Defensive driving instruction

  • Road test preparation

  • Logbook and competency training

  • Administrative scheduling services

Service availability depends on instructor schedules and location.

3. Eligibility

To receive instruction with GoGoDrive, students must:

  • Hold a valid QLD learner’s permit or driver’s license as required by local law

  • Meet the legal age requirements for driving instruction

  • Disclose any relevant medical conditions that may affect driving

  • For students under 18, have parental or guardian consent

4. Payments & Fees

  • Lessons must be paid before or at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

  • Promotional offers or package pricing apply only under the conditions stated.

  • GoGoDrive reserves the right to adjust pricing. Pricing changes will not affect lessons already booked and paid for.

  • Unpaid lessons may be canceled until payment is received.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Students must cancel or reschedule a lesson at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

  • Failure to provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice will result in forfeiture of the full booking fee for that lesson.

  • No-shows are treated as late cancellations and will also forfeit the full booking fee.

  • GoGoDrive may cancel or reschedule lessons due to weather, emergencies, safety concerns, or instructor availability. Students will not be charged cancellation fees in these situations.

6. Student Responsibilities

Students agree to:

  • Arrive on time for scheduled lessons

  • Bring a valid QLD learner’s permit or driver license to each lesson

  • Follow all instructions provided by their instructor

  • Not attend lessons under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medications that impair driving

  • Treat instructors, vehicles, and property with respect

GoGoDrive reserves the right to refuse service if safety or behavior concerns arise.

7. Instructor Responsibilities

GoGoDrive instructors will:

  • Provide professional, safe driver training

  • Maintain valid accreditation as Queensland driving instructors

  • Ensure the training vehicle is roadworthy, clean, and compliant with QLD transport standards

  • Tailor instruction to the student’s experience level

8. Safety & Vehicle Use

  • Training vehicles may be fitted with dual controls, dashcams, GPS, or telematics for safety, compliance, and quality assurance.

  • Instructors may immediately stop a lesson if a student behaves dangerously or illegally.

  • Students must follow Queensland road rules during all training sessions.

9. Practical Driving Test (Driving Test Day)

  • Unless included in a specific package, students are responsible for booking their driving test with Transport and Main Roads (TMR).

  • GoGoDrive does not guarantee that any student will pass their practical driving test.

  • Fees paid to TMR for test bookings are separate from GoGoDrive’s charges and are non-refundable.

10. Refund Policy

  • All lesson packages are strictly non-refundable, whether partially or fully unused.

  • Lesson fees forfeited due to cancellations made without 24 hours’ notice or no-shows are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Fees for completed lessons cannot be refunded.

  • Payments cannot be credited toward future bookings when the 24-hour cancellation requirement is not met.

This policy complies with relevant provisions under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) regarding service refunds.

11. Liability & Disclaimer

  • GoGoDrive is not responsible for any vehicle damage, fines, injuries, or accidents that occur during or outside scheduled lessons unless caused by instructor negligence.

  • GoGoDrive instructors may intervene at any time for safety.

  • Students acknowledge that driving involves inherent risks, which they voluntarily accept when enrolling.

12. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights guaranteed to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where services fail to meet a consumer guarantee, students may have rights to remedies such as re-service or refund as required by law.

13. Privacy

GoGoDrive collects and handles personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws in Australia.
Information may be used for booking, training, compliance, and safety purposes.

14. Intellectual Property

All lesson materials, website content, images, videos, and branding are owned by GoGoDrive and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.

15. Termination of Services

GoGoDrive may suspend or terminate services if:

  • A student breaches these Terms

  • Payment is not made

  • A student’s behavior is unsafe, abusive, or inappropriate

Students may discontinue services at any time, subject to cancellation and refund rules.

16. Website Use

Students agree not to:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems

  • Upload harmful or malicious content

  • Copy or misuse any site content

GoGoDrive may update website features at any time.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any disputes will be handled under Queensland jurisdiction.
